Well, nothing much is happening here as far as construction goes. The downstairs bath is still torn apart and the upstairs isn't much better. We've been getting bids to re-do the beautiful pink one on our main floor but they are much higher than we expected. If you see me asking for drywall advice you'll know that we have decided to do it ourselves.
In the meanitime I though I would show you a few of the items we are thinking of using in the main bathroom...
I can't decide which one of these I like better...
What do you have in your bathroom that you love?
bath sheets aka big fluffy towels are my must have. :)
ReplyDeleteI second the fluffy towels.
ReplyDeleteLove the vanity you picked out!
That looks like the making of a fabulous bathroom!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to look amazing, Houston! I love the yellow, btw. :oD
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you're going to have redoing your bathroom! Both colors are bright and cheery - I think I'd have a hard time choosing. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteWell, I am with you. I love the yellow. So sunny and happy.
ReplyDeletei love that yellow shower curtain - where is it from??
ReplyDeletei like the yellow! and those glass containers are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove all your ideas - and I favour the yellow too!!
ReplyDeleteHi Houston! I finished a total remodel of our house last January, we hired out a contractor but I stayed really neutral with colors, went with earth tones so I'm not much help. I wanted a really warm feel and so my walls are a tan color with the trim all white. I went with granite counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen and I had my main floor bath tiled all the way up including ceiling for a spa look and feel. I went with glass doors instead of a shower curtain,
ReplyDeleteIf I were to choose between the 2 colors you have I like yellow too!
Love the brushed nickle and that's what I did in our downstairs bath, upstairs I went with Venitian bronze...it's a little pricier but I'm hoping not to replace it anytime soon.
Love your vanity...it's very similar to mine.
Contractors move very slow!!! Just a little info that I'm sure you're finding out already.
Nothing in my bathroom that I love right now, especially now that I've seen all of the beautiful stuff that you've picked out. The floor guy is coming next week, so I'm hoping that will lead to a couple of other changes, too (doesn't it always?). Hope you're well - I miss seeing you!
ReplyDeletemiss you - where are you?
ReplyDeleteGet both the green and yellow then cut and sew them into one.
ReplyDeleteYep, big soft towels are a must. Love your taste in bathroom stuff!
ReplyDeleteI say yes to them all...gorgeous choices. Especially the RH fixture, because that is the one we have in our main floor bath (got it on sale!). :-)
ReplyDeleteParents head out Wed., so we must get together soon after!
Ooh, I love those bathroom accents and the sink cabinet is stunning!
